Crackdown
Crackdown is a decorative lighting design inspired by the interaction of light and shadow. It utilizes crackle glass to diffuse light in dynamic patterns, reminiscent of sunlight filtering through fractured surfaces. The brass-plated socket was chosen for its warm hue, enhancing the ambient glow. Influenced by Japandi style, the minimalist form balances simplicity and boldness. Made of high-quality metal with a satin finish, its modular design adapts to different interior settings, serving as both floor and pendant lighting.
Crackdown Decorative Lighting by Ibrahim Fatih Satilmis has been highlighted as a grand example of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Crackdown Decorative Lighting received the Bronze A' Design Award in Lighting Products and Fixtures Design in 2025. The A' Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize which recognizes excellent design of chandeliers, pendant lights, wall sconces, table lamps, floor lamps, outdoor lights, recessed lights, track lights and more.
