Chalk
Chalk is a private apartment interior located on the fourth floor of a contemporary residential building in central Warsaw. The apartment covers an area of 340 square meters. Natural materials define the interior, including wood, stone, raw steel and fabric. The same materials are repeated in every space, creating a harmonious, light and cosy atmosphere. A small number of contrasting elements, such as artworks, provide visual accents. Bespoke details were designed for the project. The interior follows the functional and aesthetic requirements set by the client.
Chalk Private Apartament by Hanna Bajer and Pawel Sokol has been featured as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Chalk Private Apartament won the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2026. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design award which recognizes exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
