Sun Valley
Sun Valley is a bathhouse interior designed as a wellness and healing space in Tianjin, China. A traditional bathhouse was converted into a set of connected zones, including a water bar, a dining area, a healing area, and a cashier area. Curved steel framing, hyperbolic plaster walls, Italian textured art paint, and solid wood form the main surfaces. Soft lighting systems and a parametric water circulation design support comfort and energy efficiency. The open layout guides guests smoothly between all zones.
Sun Valley Healing Exclusive Store by Sun Hao was identified as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Sun Valley Healing Exclusive Store received the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2026. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade which celebrates exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
