Xiaoman Hotpot Restaurant

Xiaoman Hotpot

Xiaoman Hotpot is a restaurant interior of 800 square meters in Changchun. The design is inspired by the Chinese solar term Xiaoman and by traditional landscape painting. Raw wood, stone, and rattan are combined with handcrafted ceramics and celadon tableware. Partitions, screens, and platforms divide the open plan into layered seating areas. Vertical greenery and natural material installations add ecological art. Soft indirect lighting supports a calm atmosphere. The intent is to make dining a quiet cultural experience.

Xiaoman Hotpot Restaurant by Di Qin was highlighted as a grand example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Xiaoman Hotpot Restaurant won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2026. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious international design recognition program which honors excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
