Contemporary Archaeology Hall
The Contemporary Archaeology Hall uses innovative design and technology to transform archaeology into a thought provoking journey that links the past with modern society. Visitors become time travelers, exploring archaeological secrets in places like the Moai filled island of Rapa Nui, the Akrotiri ruins before a volcanic eruption, and the ancient tomb of a Viking female warrior. Along the way, they reflect on contemporary societal challenges and potential solutions.
Contemporary Archaeology Hall Exhibition by Fan Chieh Chien has been selected as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Contemporary Archaeology Hall Exhibition earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2026. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design award that celebrates excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
