Light Reborn
Light Reborn is a residential interior design for a 105 square meter home in a 33 year old building. The renovation creates a bright, functional and balanced living space. Floor to ceiling windows and partial wall removal allow natural light to reach deep areas. A semi open kitchen and dining layout connects the main living zones. Natural wood veneer, stone grained tiles and eco friendly coatings form a layered material palette. Full height cabinets and multifunctional furniture provide integrated storage while keeping visual clarity.
Light Reborn Residential by Yi Hsuan Chen has been recognized as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Light Reborn Residential was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2026. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design award that honors excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
