Vessel of Time
Vessel of Time is a residential interior design created for a pianist and a family of three. The home covers about 231 square meters in Taiwan. A wood-lined foyer forms a gentle threshold between the city and the interior. Tall fluted glass doors and sheer curtains filter daylight into the living space. The piano stands within a shared central core, where music, reading and conversation meet. Light timber, mineral textures and special paint with brush marks shape a calm, low-saturation setting. The open plan links the living areas and supports a slower pace of daily life.
Vessel of Time Residential by WPH_HTH_Architects has been identified as a grand illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Vessel of Time Residential received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2026. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design award which recognizes exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
