Living Gallery
Tailored specifically for an art collector, this private residence balances extensive display requirements with everyday living comfort. Through a strategic layout reconfiguration, a previously dark unit containing three bedrooms was transformed into an illuminated loop space featuring two rooms. The design creates a sophisticated warmth by blending grey marble with rich wood textures. By integrating professional gallery lighting with flexible modular systems, the space achieves a functional aesthetic that showcases an art collection while maintaining a welcoming and domestic atmosphere.
Living Gallery Residential House by Shih Wei Liu was highlighted as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition.
