Wave
Wave is a portable personal blender designed for use in an office, a car or other places away from home. The compact body is about the size of a large water bottle and holds the complete blending mechanism. The shell is made of injection molded ABS, the blades are stainless steel and the window is tempered glass. A molded silicone cover with a flowing pattern gives a firm grip and conceals residue left on the glass. The small transparent window allows the blending progress to be checked. A brushless motor, rechargeable batteries and a USB charging plug are used.
Wave Blender by Leila Ensaniat has been recognized as an exceptional example of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Wave Blender received the Golden A' Design Award in Home Appliances Design in 2020. The A' Home Appliances Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize which recognizes exceptional design of refrigerators, dishwashers, microwaves, washing machines, dryers, ovens, vacuum cleaners, air conditioners and more.
