Vanke Moon Over The Sea
Vanke Moon Over The Sea is a sales center located in Guangzhou, China. The interior was built inside a former school gymnasium, and the large open hall allows a free ground plan. White terrazzo is used widely and gives the floor a seamless surface. A sculptural staircase made of stainless steel plate and a reception desk of rusted steel form a strong contrast with the white terrazzo. Floating boxes hold the showrooms and a children's activity area above the open space. Windows connect the interior with the exterior.
Vanke Moon Over The Sea Sale Center by Paul Bo Peng was recognized as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Vanke Moon Over The Sea Sale Center was awarded the Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020.
