Donde Cloud Valley
Donde Cloud Valley is a demonstration area landscape completed in 2018 in Wuhan, China. The project follows an integrated approach to landscape and architecture, in which the building form and volume are maximized. The building works as a place for social interaction and as a landscape in itself. Clear geometric volumes give the project a modernist character and form a gate of art together with the surrounding buildings. Deer themed installations welcome visitors and are made with irregular cut surfaces and reflective mirror material.
Donde Cloud Valley Demonstration Area by Shanghai Lacime Design Co. Ltd. was selected as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Donde Cloud Valley Demonstration Area received the Silver A' Design Award in Landscape Planning and Garden Design in 2020. The A' Landscape Planning and Garden Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition that rewards outstanding design of landscape designs, public parks, residential gardens, urban plazas, campus designs, green roofs, waterfront developments, Eco-Parks, botanical gardens and more.
