Rhythm
Rhythm is a sales center in Changshu, China, with an area of 1050 square meters. Simple and free curved lines shape the exterior wall design, so the building appears as a floating light box and forms a visual focus. Inside the sales center, a waving rhythm serves as both decoration and boundary. Grey and white forms interlace to connect the spaces on the first and second floors while dividing them into areas. Several kinds of marble are used, and wood lines form geometric elevations made by skilled carpenters.
Rhythm Sales Center by Kris Lin has been featured as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Rhythm Sales Center earned the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design competition that recognizes superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
