Haimen Vanke Jadeite
Haimen Vanke Jadeite is a sales center in Haimen, Jiangsu Province, China. The interior covers 2000 square meters and uses the large-span, high-ceiling character of the building. The layout follows the traditional courtyard plan and refers to the local history of the sea gate. A marble coffee table and soft seating form a relaxed lounge area, while blue tones recall the fishing life of the region. Two wooden volumes hold the VIP room and the children's area, enclosed by floor-to-ceiling glass for privacy. A large staircase turns upward through the space.
Haimen Vanke Jadeite Sales Center by Wally Mau has been identified as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Haimen Vanke Jadeite Sales Center received the Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design accolade which honors superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
