4000 Light
4000 Light is a hot pot restaurant interior designed for young customers. Light is used as the core design element of the space. Different light sources and specular reflection materials create reflection and refraction effects on carefully shaped surfaces. An image interaction technology adds changing visual effects. Three focal areas, named the art hall, the wormhole and the time channel, organize the plan. The interior covers 1000 square meters. Light and shade replace building materials as the main space-forming elements, so visitors interact with the surrounding environment.
4000 Light Restaurant by niandi xu was recognized as a grand example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. 4000 Light Restaurant earned the Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020.
