The Morgan
Utilizing the abode soaring ceiling, a custom built cylindrical stacked volume is created in order to bring the homeowner vision into reality. For instance, unusual curvy stacked volume consists of five layers. Such as living area on the floor level, sleeping quarter on above, a bookshelf, a dining table and the custom built stairs. From the inner to the outer, the smallest to the largest. Five overlapping circles have been created to fulfill different functions, at the same time sharing the same central point to become a 360 degree living circle concept in these 400 square feet flat.
The Morgan Private Residence by Chiu Chi Ming Danny was highlighted as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. The Morgan Private Residence received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design recognition program which honors outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
