Avenue Green Sheshan
Avenue Green Sheshan is a kindergarten interior in Shanghai, China. The space is divided into zones that support both active and quiet modes of use. A large, open and bright area allows children to run around the columns and play together. Small huts placed within the large space offer a calm and personal setting. A curved slide stands in the center of the reception waiting area, where parents can rest while children play. Wood and pale colors are used to give the interior a warm and homely character.
Avenue Green Sheshan Kindergarten by Chloe Liew was featured as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Avenue Green Sheshan Kindergarten received the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design award that recognizes excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
