Urban Peony Pavilion
Urban Peony Pavilion is a club interior designed for banquets, meetings and receptions. The project covers 980 square meters. The layout uses small space blocks that recall a mountain jungle, arranging circulation and hiding functional areas within the blocks. Inside a structure of reinforced concrete, the design creates an urban idyllic scene. Literati life more than a thousand years ago and oriental opera culture guided the concept. The whole space can serve as a large stage, and hidden doors can be closed to reorganize scenes.
Urban Peony Pavilion Club by Black Lv has been identified as a grand representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Urban Peony Pavilion Club received the Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design accolade which celebrates superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
