Bring Nature Home For Kids Residential Building

Kai-Shin Lo Residential Building Interior

Bring Nature Home For Kids

Bring Nature Home for Kids is a residential interior design for a family of six. The four-floor home covers 228 square meters indoors and 111 square meters outdoors. Chinese garden methods of borrowing, framing and blocking create a layered space that links the interior with two gardens and a roof garden. Solid wood is used from the flooring to the furnishings, and the dining table and bed frames are made of minimally processed lumber. Furniture heights are customized so that children can explore the home freely and safely.

Bring Nature Home For Kids Residential Building by Kai-Shin Lo was featured as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Bring Nature Home For Kids Residential Building received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design award that celebrates exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
