Morph Bar

Morph

Morph is a bar and event venue in Shenzhen, China, with a total construction area of 1,000 square meters. The interior combines traditional Chinese materials with modern structural forms. The color palette of red, blue, black, yellow and gold is inspired by the Forbidden City and the Five Elements. Functional areas are arranged around a central activity space 7 meters high, with capacity for 100 people and theatre acoustics. A mezzanine and a curved double-height structure divide and define the space. Spatial installations can be changed to suit different events.

Morph Bar by Dongzi Yang, Qianyi Lin has been featured as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Morph Bar won the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize that recognizes exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
