Glimpse
Glimpse is a side table designed for use beside seating units. The form of Glimpse is a reflection of an organic shape divided into small sections, joining an organic outline with a minimalist design. The table is made of wood and tempered glass. The wooden parts are produced with a CNC router, and silicone dots are attached to the wooden parts to stop the tempered glass from slipping. The glass has a concave slope that allows easy access from a sitting position on a sofa. The glass can be flipped, so the table can be placed on either side of the seating.
Glimpse Side Table by Kenan Derya Sargin has been identified as a grand illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Glimpse Side Table won the Silver A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2020. The A' Furniture Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize that rewards excellent design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
