Impertial Project
Impertial Court Project is a restaurant interior located in the commercial podium of an office building in a central business district. The design covers 2523 square meters and interprets Chaoshan culture in a modern way. The Guangji Bridge is reinterpreted as a feature wall 33 meters long, made of customized glass tiles, which guides visitors from the hall to the private dining rooms. Wavy metal plates with hand-knocked surfaces form the entrance ceiling. Sculpted metal strips, fluted wood and inlaid marble clad the main door facade. Lighting is focused on the dishes to avoid glare.
Impertial Project Restaurant by Guangzhou Optimum Interior Design Co., Ltd. was identified as a creative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Impertial Project Restaurant was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize which rewards exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
