Zhimu Spa
Zhimu Spa is an interior design for a leisure club in Changzhou, China. The project covers 2400 square meters and contains 53 private rooms. The floor height is less than 3 meters, so part of the first floor was opened and a curved stair was added to connect the two levels. The stair stands above a shallow water surface, and the hall behind the stair rises about 7 meters. Stone, wood and fabric are combined. Small landscapes with plants and stones are placed beside the private rooms to link the interior with nature.
Zhimu Spa Club by Chuanjin Sun was highlighted as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Zhimu Spa Club received the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious international design award which recognizes excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
