Sunny Poem
Sunny Poem is an interior design for a duplex apartment of 272 square meters in Taichung City. The original staircase divides the layout into a front area and a rear area. The front area holds a tall living room, a dining room and a kitchen, arranged for receiving guests. Mirrors in the public area widen the visual field. A black linear staircase leads to a relaxed parlor with sofas and a home theater. Solid wood grills conceal the bedroom doors to protect privacy. The master bedroom includes an open dressing room with a sliding door.
Sunny Poem Residential Apartment by Ting-Yan Chen was recognized as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards.
