Caring Times
Caring Times in a Distinctive Space is a residential interior design of 215 square meters in Taichung, Taiwan. Certified green building materials are used, and the whole space is laid out for full accessibility. The use of leather is deliberately minimized. Rooms are organized by function, and grayish white is the keynote color, chosen for a calm and simple effect. Inessential walls were removed to retain natural light. The low beams are concealed and turned into vertical surfaces, and storage is integrated into the circulation.
Caring Times Residential Interior Design by Chia-Peng Chen has been identified as a grand example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Caring Times Residential Interior Design won the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious international design award which honors outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
