Shangri-la Shougang Park
Shangri-la Shougang Park is a lighting design for a hotel in Beijing. The hotel stands at the core of Shougang Park, on the site of a former power generation plant that once supplied energy for steel production. The complex covers 63,600 square meters and holds 283 guest rooms. LED light sources are used across all indoor and outdoor spaces, and the lighting scenes change with the time of day. Warm color temperature light creates a comfortable environment and relates the hotel to the surrounding buildings of the park at night.
Shangri-la Shougang Park Hotel Lighting by Zhu Haiyan has been identified as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Shangri-la Shougang Park Hotel Lighting was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Architectural Lighting in 2023.
